Rachel Randall is an Alabama-based glass artist and the founder of Greenbriar Art Company, an independent studio devoted to the creation of original stained glass and decorative glasswork.

Rooted in an appreciation for traditional craftsmanship, historic architecture, and the quiet beauty of the natural world, Rachel’s work explores the relationship between color, texture, and light. Her pieces draw inspiration from the ornamental elegance of Art Nouveau, the character of antique glass, and the enduring artistry of objects made to be treasured.

Working with both time-honored techniques and contemporary approaches to glassmaking, she brings together the disciplines of stained glass, kiln-forming, and hand-painted detail. Each composition is thoughtfully considered, allowing the individual qualities of the glass to guide the finished work.

At the heart of Greenbriar is a belief that beautiful objects should become part of the stories we live with. A window that catches the afternoon sun, a piece of glass passed from one generation to the next, or a commissioned work created for a particular place can hold meaning far beyond its original purpose.

From her private studio in Auburn, Alabama, Rachel creates original collections and accepts select commissions. For architectural projects, she welcomes the opportunity to experience a space firsthand, considering its light, proportions, and character before beginning the design process.

Through Greenbriar Art Company, her intention is simple: to create works of lasting beauty, thoughtfully made and meant to be lived with.
